U2 are going back on a stadium tour: with “The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour” for their new album “Carnaval De Luz”, Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. come to Europe in summer 2027 – and play just one show in Germany: on Wednesday, 30 June 2027, at Berlin's Olympiastadion. Austria and Switzerland are not on the schedule so far. Here are the presale dates, all European dates and tips for getting there and where to stay in Berlin.

The Berlin show

  • Wed, 30 June 2027 – Berlin, Olympiastadion (the only show in Germany)
  • Support: Wolf Alice (according to media reports on the tour announcement)

The new album “Carnaval De Luz” is out on 13 November 2026.

Presale: key dates

  • Artist presale: Thu, 5 November 2026, from 10:00 (German time) on Ticketmaster – only for fans who registered by 1 November. Registration is closed.
  • General sale: Fri, 6 November 2026, from 10:00 on Ticketmaster.
  • Limit: according to Ticketmaster, each fan or Ticketmaster account can buy tickets for a maximum of three shows on the European tour.

The band did not announce prices – check the current price in the ticket shop on sale day.

Our advice: set up a Ticketmaster account in advance, be online before 10:00 on Friday and buy from official sellers only. With just one show in Germany, fake or heavily overpriced tickets appear quickly on classifieds and social media.

Shows in Spain have been announced but no dates yet.

Getting to the Olympiastadion

The easiest way is the S-Bahn to “Olympiastadion” (S3, S9) or the U2 underground line to “Olympia-Stadion”; both stations are a few minutes' walk from the stadium. From Berlin Hauptbahnhof it takes about 20 minutes by S-Bahn. Expect queues at the stations after the show – with tens of thousands of fans, access is sometimes managed. Driving is hardly worth it: parking is scarce and getting away takes a long time.

Where to stay

  • Charlottenburg / Westend: close to the stadium with direct S-Bahn and U-Bahn links – back at your hotel quickly after the show.
  • Around Hauptbahnhof: handy if you arrive by train and leave the next morning.
  • Mitte: ideal for combining the show with sightseeing – a slightly longer trip to the stadium.

Book early and with free cancellation if you can – hotel prices in Berlin rise quickly on stadium concert days.

Good to know on the day

  • Weekday: the show is on a Wednesday – take Thursday off for the journey home if you can.
  • Bags and entry: the promoter publishes the exact rules before the show. Arrive early, security checks take time.
  • Weather: most of the Olympiastadion is covered, but not all of it – on the pitch, pack a rain poncho rather than an umbrella.
